Devised in 2008, the MVP's are the official annual player awards for the Abbotsford Wolves. The most prestigious of these awards is the MVP Trophy which is awarded to the Player Of The Year.
The MVP points are compiled throughout the year with a final team vote contributing to the total at the end of the season.
Ben Stephens was the inaugural MVP in 2008, followed by Jonny DiMichiel in 2009 and Ged Brennan in 2010.
Awards are also given for MVP Runner Up, highest goal scorer, most games played and the most outstanding rookie of the season to name just a few.
Another honourable accolade is the Captain's Award, with nominees chosen by their respective captains. Players who have received a card throughout the year are deemed ineligible for this award.
In 2009, awards were also given to the premier Defender and Attacker as part of the celebrations for the Wolves 5th season.
